Romelu Lukaku has insisted that he was destined to play for Inter, although didn’t credit score Chelsea or Manchester United as golf equipment who helped his growth.

The Belgian has returned to the Nerazzurri on a season-long mortgage only one 12 months after leaving them for the Blues in a deal price almost £100m.

Having fired Inter to the 2020/21 Serie A title – their first in 11 years – Lukaku arrived again in England with big expectations, however didn’t meet these calls for and was granted a return to San Siro.

And he has admitted that he feels it was his ‘future’ to play for Inter in his lifetime.

“It was future to play for Inter, like for Anderlecht and Chelsea,” he stated. “It was what I imagined, Inter and Anderlecht and Everton gave me the chance to turn out to be the participant I’m.

“The love of the folks and the followers, for me and for my household, I thank them and I nonetheless apologise for a way I left, however I’ve to talk on the pitch.
