Fulham have formally confirmed the signing of centre-back Issa Diop from West Ham United for an undisclosed charge.
The defender had fallen out of favour on the London Stadium in latest seasons, making lower than throughout each the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaigns.
Now he joins newly-promoted Fulham seeking to get some much-needed gametime below his belt.
A membership assertion on the signing reads: “The Membership is delighted to substantiate the signing of Issa Diop from West Ham United for an undisclosed charge.
The 25-year-old centre-back has agreed a five-year deal, tying him to Craven Cottage till the summer time of 2027.”
Chatting with FFCtv after making the transfer, Diop mentioned he was ‘very completely satisfied’ to hitch the membership: “I’m very completely satisfied, very completely satisfied to hitch Fulham. I hope it’s going to be an excellent chapter of my profession.
